Sea Kayak Guides are experienced and trained in teaching navigation and planning. Planning is essential and we can examine the planning and preparation that may prevent a simple sea kayak trip from becoming an epic.
Topics covered range from weather forecasting, tidal planning, using maps and charts, using a GPS to chart work and navigation whilst at sea.
We are also able to deliver the British Canoe Union Coastal and Open Water navigation courses, A list of dates is on the BCU courses page if these don’t suit, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to put on a course to suit your availability. For groups we can run these courses in a suitable location closer to you
