Pembrokeshire's premier playboating venue is the infamous "Bitches" tidal race. It has played host to many Freestyle competitions over the years including 1991 World Championships. Being tidal there are no issues with water levels; these change with the size of the tidal range, giving varying conditions comparable to mellow grade 1 up to full on big volume grade 4. On the right day it's a world class playspot with massive standing waves and holes!
